Knowledge is power.  When it comes to the law it is vitally important to be informed.  Below are some links to information concerning the law regarding Sealing and Expunging in the State of Florida.

Florida Expunge and Sealing Links

• Florida Expungement Statute
  Section 943.0585 of the Florida Statutes is very informative and spells out what can and cannot be expunged (basically anything dropped/dismissed can be expunged).
• Florida Sealing Statute
  Section 943.059 of the Florida Statutes is extremely similar to section 943.0585, however there are differences.
• Florida Rules of Court
  These are the rules that the judiciary sets forth to govern procedure within the court system.  Knowledge of these rules are essential to accomplishing the goal of sealing or expunging a criminal arrest record.
• Florida Administrative Code
  The administrative code is a series of rules promulgated by state agencies.  These self-imposed rules govern how these agencies will function.  Code involving the sealing and expunging of criminal arrest records can be found here.
